I don't think I have any good ones yet lol
Hopefully i'll get to the point where they're decent soon though, whenever soon is

Of course, there's also luck involved when they're so young, and that is why many people choose to wait until they're older and have more training.

If you have a good foal, they can start making money right away, like this guy. He's earned less than 1000 ebs in profits so far, but that's not a bad start for being 7 days old irl.

I did that on WP but RO there is much faster. I'm waiting on 6ish foals to age up 'cause I bred 'em all around the 4-5th ^^"

I like breeding on RO so I get their full training potential. I like having a good basis for match testing

What is the probability of getting an apricot ee/ prlprl out of a match that has Ee /Prl prl X Ee / Prl prl ?

is it worth the risk of going for apricot ? Or is it less than a 50% chance of succeeding?

thanks!

So to use a Punnett square you have EE, Ee and ee as possible outcomes for the E gene and PrlPrl Prlprl and prlprl as outcomes for the prl gene.
Since both horses are heterozygotes you get 1:2:1 ratio (1/4 chance of EE or PrlPrl, 1/2 chance of Ee or PrlPrl and 1/4 chance of ee or prlprl). Taken together, you have about 1/8 chances for ee prlprl.
These horses have a much better chance of producing ee or prlprl alone than together, so you could still get a good horse from which to breed apricots from them. If you get a ee Prlprl or a Ee prlprl the odds increase a lot if bred to an apricot or even another ee Prlprl or Ee prlprl. Having both parents be homozygous for at least one of the two traits is much more likely to produce a double homozyous recessive.
