10:51:45 Void Malign But he'll eventually pay for it in the form of damage to his body. I come from blue collar and I saw the damage that hard physical labor caused |
10:51:32 Buckeye! When I went into business for myself, I owned nothing more than clothes, my one horse and a dog at the time. My truck wasnÂ’t even mine, it belonged to my parents. I leased the barn/land and leased a separate place to live. Did other side jobs along the way as needed - yes, working for others at times, at night , to pay the bills. Eventually was able to rely only upon my own income. Was tough. But made it - and proud of what I did and what I have. |
10:50:24 Eagle funny though cause my boyfriend works in construction and makes close to 6k a month too but no schooling . |

Oh yes. My mom is very literate, but never finished college. Long story, life happened. Anyway, I'm over here with a near worthless AA degree and still have struggle with English sometimes.
And that sounds wonderful! My dream is to have a large chunk of land. Farm, ranch, homestead, whatever. Big enough to have my space from neighbors and have animals and a garden. XD |
10:48:38 Void Malign If you're willing to do a lot of schooling and have a lot of stress during it, yeah lol |
10:47:40 Snow❆Gem @diva
Ah, phew! lol Also OK. :) |
10:47:39 Buckeye! Am not doing too bad. Large farm paid for, no debt . Life is good |
10:47:27 Eagle is it a pissing contest now XD |
10:47:15 Snow❆Gem @eury
Put it that way, can I get a job from someone? lol
@buckeye
I wish! But I don't have the overhead to try anything like that, right now. |
10:46:48 Buckeye! Not at all implying literacy is valued by dollars. Just that it is used in communication without chatspeak in most of my life. Plenty of folks without riches can be extremely literate. No assumptions ever made to the contrary |
10:46:34 Void Malign ..the 6k a month ain't bad either lmfao |
10:45:56 Void Malign I meaaan. I get to work from home. |
10:45:44 Snow❆Gem @buckeye
Same! I'm not into shorthand. I can understand things like 'SanFran' for the city San Francisco though. (auto correct just helped me with the spelling, lol). |
10:45:32 🎀 Diva no, we dont live together for now because of his job in another country |
10:44:46 Buckeye! Ah the joys of being self employed and not relying upon online platforms for work |
10:43:58 Void Malign x) that said, most of the people are 40s+ and I think collectively, our degrees are worth a few million |
10:42:59 Snow❆Gem @diva
Oh my! Was hubbys clothes in there too? lol And purple lace sounds nice! Hey, I don't have any purple socks... |

"“Casper, come here boy!"” shouted a girl standing on the wooden fence. Second later a pure white thoroughbred came running from miles away. He stopped before crashing into the fence and neighed at the girl. "“Good boy. Are you ready for today?"” the girl said taking a brush out of her pocket and brushing Casper’s coat. The girl jumped down from the fence and opened the metal gate to the field. "“Wait there, bud."” as Casper tried to push past the girl. The girl quickly put a bridle on his head before leading him to a training course. "Sarah, are you sure he will be able to jump these courses?”" said another older woman. "“Mum, he will try his best at anything.”" said the girl giving onto Casper’s bareback. “"Alright but be careful."” the mother said as she stood the other side of the training fence. Sarah tapped her horse slightly and he began to walk through the course. When he started to trot, he wanted to go faster but the girl stopped him. He bucked a few times making the girl grab onto his mare tightly. Sarah quickly stopped Casper near the fence. “He might not be good at jumping.” Sarah thinking about other things to do with her horse. “"How about racing? He looked like he want to run that’s why he started to try and throw you off." said the mum. Edited at January 8, 2020 03:15 PM by Dark
