Yeah, my herd is also halved right now. Most of them died but I also did a huge downsize before I went inactive for 6 months lol Hay fields are fantastic, I don't have to buy hay and end of the month I can mass breed color PONs and stash them away

OK! My Gelding Army keeps growing, but I think I'm going to limit it to 200 (because that's the most my barn manager is willing to manage). They save my stable from financial failure.

Oh sweet, 40k profit and they made back what I spent on a barn. I love my geldings supporting my spending habits 😂😂

What's a snipe guard? I still don't understand that option😅

Val and Dark did it on their auction, to prevent last minute bids.
.
"If you post within the last hour of the auction (from 10:59pm to 11:59pm) the time will extend by one hour to give others a chance to outbid you. For example, if you post at 11:50pm (within the last hour of auction), the end date is extended by one hour from the original end date to 12:59am on the 5th. This continues until bids stop being placed."

ahhhh, thank you! I saw an auction recently that ended at 6pm GT, someone bit at 6pm exactly and it was counted, I think this would've been useful there😅

I personally prefer a snipe guard over the end date just extending by 24 hours. It doesn't draw the auction duration out so incredibly long like that, as all the bidding is done then and there, while still preventing people from bidding at the absolute last second to avoid counters.

I've never liked snipe guard. All it really does is reward those who have the time to hover over an auction and drop bids. I'm either going to lose interest or just completely forget about it. Same goes for auctions that end x days after no bids.

I prefer a set date and time, with an AB option. I have a RL, outside of HEE. And usually if I see snipe guard type / end date extended for bidding. I will not bother bidding, because I can't "camp out" on here waiting to see if someone bids.

Or I forget that its even going on. I think you can loose money in the long run. Because I doubt I'm the only one who forgets their is an auction going. I feel like if the piece is good, those who want it. Will put there bid in, in time. When there is a set time, I will set a reminder. So I can remember to go bid. But with a floating time, that goes out the window. Just my two cents :)

I personally always do set time and date for my auctions, the whole ends 24 or so hours after last bid always seems to make them drag on longer than they should.

@Spirtasi Whims
I agree wholeheartedly. As an artist, I don't know why others do that. I like to be organized and know when something is going to Start/End. Like an actual auction.
