Anya gave a slow nod before sitting down against the tree. "Definitely bring her along! She's super sweet." Anya murmured thoughtfully, "If you were wanting, I could bring some old dresses or something out for her. I'm not the same size as I was when I was eight, and I don't know anyone else who would fit into them." She shrugged, resting her head back against the tree. Sage seemed like he was trying his best for his sister, and although she was paying him a fair amount, it didn't seem like enough. Sage was risking a lot to be out here with her, and even though it got him out of the tavern, Anya simply felt guilty. She looked up, noticing that the sky getting brighter. She'd have to get going soon. "I'm kind of hungry too." Anya huffed, forcing herself to get back up, "Do you want to go get something to eat as well? I'll pay." She noted with a smile.

Sage grunted and stood up. "Alright. I can't argue with that." He glanced over at Anya and shrugged. "You could bring a few and see if she would want them. She has a few outfits but I'm sure she'd enjoy that." He started walking, tracking Lizzie's footprints. He figured she was at a certain cart, and the more he tracked her the more he was certain of that. In truth, showing Anya around was really helpful, and he knew Anya was probably a bit overwhelmed at what happens outside of...wherever she lived. He was glad to help her though, and couldn't thank her enough, especially with the way he was supposed to act around her since she was so much higher up than he was.

Anya waddled along next to him going through her pockets to get some cash ready. It was oddly entertaining, watching him follow tracks. He seemed like quite a talented individual, despite not having much time or resources. Anya couldn't do any of it if she tried, and she had quite literally everything at her fingertips. Well, if she really wanted to, she could, but she never really interested herself in the outdoors. As a result, no one cared to teach her. Eventually, the two wandered their way back into town. Events from the evening prior seemed to still have some of the townsfolk riled up ... Or they were simply trying to rid themselves of a hangover by downing even more drinks. Everything looked friendlier tonight though. Maybe that was just because she wasn't totally alone. There were still a few groups of people calling her, but it didn't bother her so much. She still found herself watching out for guards and maids instead, deathly afraid of getting caught. She wasn't just thinking of herself this time. Now she would be getting other people in trouble, and she refused to be the cause of their imprisonment.

Sage followed the tracks until he saw Lizzie sitting in a chair, legs swinging happily as she munched on an apple. A mischievous grin slowly spread across his face and he jogged over behind Lizzie as silent as a ghost before he wrapped his arms around her and whispered "boo" into her ear. He screeched and laughed and he let her go, spinning a chair around so he could sit next to her, resting his arms and chin on the back of the chair. Lizzie giggled and crawled over to him, leaning against him. He waved Anya over to the table, which still had a few chairs open. There were drunks at the cart, and he didn't want anything bad to happen. Well, he doubted it would all be perfectly fine, but he wanted the other two kids near him for when it did happen. Suddenly he wondered how old Anya was ..she seemed around his age now that he thought of it.

The girl flopped into a chair across the table from the two, resting her chin on her palm. She fiddled with her nails for a few moments before glancing up, "What were you wanting? I'll go grab it." She noted simply. She looked over at the food-filled cart, dreading the interaction with the drunken trader and the few townsfolk surrounding it. Anya looked out of place... it was obvious she didn't belong there, and frankly, she wasn't comfortable in the setting either, but she was getting used to it. Slowly. There would be a day when she wouldn't be able to leave anymore; so she was trying to make the most of being out while she could - even if it meant being tormented by drunks.

Sage shrugged. "I don't care. I'm not picky." He glanced over at the cart owner and frowned. "Erm, maybe I should go get it. Unless you just want me to walk with you..." He wasn't sure what the cart owner would act like, but he was drunk and so we're the men and women around him. Anya obviously didn't know how to deal with them if something happened. And even drunk, they could tell that. The cart owner glared in his direction and he scrunched his face up. "Yep, you're definitely not going over there alone," he muttered. He didn't trust any of the people over there, and knew something was going to happen, especially since Anya was young, pretty, and rich.

Anya looked between Sage and the stumbling people. She sighed, giving him a nod. As much as she wanted to prove to herself that she would be able to do this sort of thing alone, now wasn't the time. "Yeah, that's probably the best idea." She murmured quietly. It was less likely - not impossible - for them to have as much of an issue if she had Sage with her. Though he was still young, and while Anya would feel safer with him at her side, the likely hood of Sage actually being taken seriously seemed mightly low. Anya swiftly stood up, gesturing for the boy to follow. "Come one then. Let's get this over and done with." She grumbled, turning her nose up at the folks as she walked.

Sage grunted and stood up, walking next to her but slightly behind her. Sage gave each of the people a look that meant 'mess with any of us and you'll regret it' They wavered, but converged by the art anyway. Sage wanted them carefully while Anya ordered, and they stayed where they were. As soon as they turned around to leave, however, they all dropped on them, each with a knife or sword of some kind. Sage pushed Anya out of the circle and lept into action, his dagger flying as he soun around, disarming and hurting if necessary, until they all backed up only about fifteen seconds later. He put his dagger away and walked back to the girls, not even out of breath. He had kind of been hoping for a better fight...he was getting bored.

Anya stood dumb founded for a moment, eyes wide before she walked back over to the table Lizzie was sat at. She had expected issues, just not to be jumped the way they had been. She watched as Sage walked back, not so much as a gaze on him. Still, the girl found herself filled with guilt. There must have been at least five or more of them, and Sage wasn't even a little out of breath. Anya didnt have time to think before she was pushed out of harms way, and it took her a solid five seconds to get back to the table. By then, everyhing was over. Anya's eyes followed him as he walked over, inspecting to make sure he really hadn't hurt himself. She wasnt sure what to say, so instead she put the bag in the middle of the table. "I wasn't sure what you'd like, so I picked up a bunch. Do you think we'll be alright here or should we go elsewhere?"

Sage shrugged and looked back at the people who were going about their own business again. "Well, they won't mess with us again. But we could go back to the lake. You might be more comfortable there," he offered. Honestly, he liked the lake, but he was also used to this type of environment. Lizzie didn't seem to mind either way ... She just ate an apple happily and watched them talk. He noticed her gaze flick over his body and he gave her a grim smile. "Don't worry....I do this all the time. I won't get myself hurt, not fighting drinks. Besides, if I do get hurt I can sew myself up in a few minutes and be fine." Lizzie nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! He's the best fighter around." Sage rubbed the back of his neck, blushing slightly. "I, uh, wouldn't say that, exactly," he muttered. Lizzie grinned and put her hand to the side of her mouth, whispering "he's too modest to admit it" to Anya with a giggle. Sage gave her an unamused look before looking back at Anya, wondering where she would want to eat.
