Mercy looked about as the boys all began to alert and made their way to the entrance. "Oh, goodie for me." She remarked on Ajax's statement. "Just what I always wanted." She stood behind them, flaring her wings slightly and tilting her chin up. She watched the demons land, keeping herself calm and relaxed in posture, even as they advanced. Mercy gave Hangman a cold glare. "Yes, I saw. And with it you brought your stench." She growled.

Ajax watched as the demons expressions grew a little angrier. "We're not leaving yet. You assulted Hangman and you have to pay the price for that, Bulldog." Doom snarled, his lips curling back to reveal pointed fangs. Ajax's dark eyes glinted as he looked at all the demons in turn, but fixed his eyes on Hangman. "So you had to go cryin' to the bigger demons, eh? Poor Ankle-Biter probably had to stoop low to get them to help." Ajax commented in a smooth voice, a daring look coming into his eyes. He was very good at annoying demons, and prompting them. He was also good at fighting. This might lead to both. Hangman looked so furious he might explode, because demons hated being insulted, and the others looked angry, too. Then Hangman did explode, shooting towards Ajax with his fangs bared and claws instead of fingernails. "Whoops." Ajax purred as he stepped aside... and Hangman smashed into the wall, letting out a scream of rage. Then the fight was on. Rooster smashed Fire and Lava's heads together, and they got knocked out immedietely. Goose tackled Doom and did a great job annoying him.

When Hangman screamed, Goose flew at Doom with his wings flared. "Too slow." Goose chanted as Doom lunged at him and missed as Goose swept sideways. "So close!" He cheered as Doom clawed again, just missing Goose. "You almost got it, sweetheart." Goose purred as Doom made another swipe at Goose's hawaiian shirt. "Aw, baby, you're getting so far away now." Goose snickered as Doom almost face planted into the ground when Doom made a violent leap for Goose.

Ajax grabbed Hangman's head and cracked it against the wall before whirling backwards, disappearing into the shadows before popping out again and tripping Hangman. "Alright you whippernsapper." Ajax said, his voice copying an *old man* voice... perfectly. "Come on, you can do better." He growled, swiping again.

Mercy watched them carefully, biting her lip as the fighting broke out. She waited for one of them to go for her, which she knew one would. She looked around in slight puzzlement, wondering where the fifth demon had dissapeared to. She looked around herself quickly, then back at the multiple fights going on in front of her.

Asassin leaped out at Mercy from the shadows, slashing with a blade before melting back into the shadows. He whirled out again and tried landing pummels of blows on her, flapping his big wings to swirl air around and confuse her.

Doom, bloodied with a couple broken-ish looking bones, staggered toward Goose with blood covering his smashed up face. "Here, have a nice day." Goose chirped politely, giving Doom a tap on the shoulder. The demon stumbled into the wall and then slumped onto the floor, out cold.

Hangman flew in a fury at Ajax, but at the last second swerved, took out a dagger, and stabbed. The dagger went deep into Ajax's chest... but something had played out right before. Hangman had been moving for Ajax's heart, but Goose had seen what was happening and leapt forward in the last second, shoving Hangman aside. The dagger did end up digging into Ajax's chest, but it missed any vital organs. Like his heart. He roared with pain and stumbled sideways before whirling, then everything happened quite quickly. Ajax, not fooling around this time, flew at Hangman. In a flash of silver Hangman got broken ribs. In another his nose was broken, and in another whirl of silver and black wings Hangman got knocked out. Ajax then grabbed Hangman's shirt, picked him up, and practically tossed him out of the cave.

Mercy managed to turn just in time so the blade merely slashed across her cheek, with a small splatter of scarlet. She glared at Assasin as he emerged again, ducking down under his arms and slamming her knee into the side of his body, hard. She grabbed his arm from behind as he fell downwards, twisting it behind his back at a painful angle through the confusing swirl. She dropped his arm and kept it pinned to his back with her foot, flaring her wings slightly in anger. "Didn't your Mother teach you not to hit a lady?" She cooed, stepping on the back of his head so she heard a crack as his nose smashed into the ground. She looked around quickly, in just enough time to see Ajax toss someone out of the cave, immiediately registering the knife. She gave a small gasp of surprise and looked at him in concern.

Asassin roared with pain as his arm got twisted, crashing to the ground like a stack of bricks. He grunted and rolled aside, hopping back up and jumping away as Mercy got distracted. Asassin then flew in with his wings flared, a hiss coming out of his mouth, taking a rope and twisting it around her neck.

Ajax glanced back at Mercy to see Asassin attempting to strangle her. He knew Mercy could take care of herself, but he wanted to do this to someone. Ajax ripped the knife out of his chest and stabbed Asassin in the back. "Goodnight!" He exclaimed cheerily, wrenching the man off of Mercy and yet again throwing him into the darkness outside to cave. Now that all the threats were either dead or so knocked out they probably wouldn't move for... ever... he sat down heavily on the ground with a huff.

Goose turned to Rooster, who was fuming in a corner. He walked over and gently guided the bigger man to a log, then sat him down. Rooster looked to be in an angry daze so Goose left him alone, going back to Ajax. "You alright, Buster?" Goose asked with a concerned voice, not being able to help himself from adding the word at the end. His bright blue and yellow hawaiian shirt was soaked with blood, and stained red. His light blonde hair had red streaks in it, and in a couple places blood dripped down him. Overall, Goose looked rather cheerful

Ajax raised his head and looked at Goose with a half glare. "I told you NOT to call me Buster, so DO NOT call me Buster." He growled, but did not answer the question. Ajax had to much pride to say he wasn't alright, but he didn't exactly want to lie and say he was fine. "I'm fine." He finally said grumpily

She stumbled back quickly as she felt something twist around her neck, feeling it squeeze and panicking slightly with a cough as she thought of how she might get out of it. Until, she didn't have to. She stumbled forward as the weight got pulled off her, bracing herself on the wall before giving a small cough and turning. She skittered to kneel next to Ajax, rolling her eyes at his response. "No, you're not. You're lucky, is what you are." She hissed, looking a little pissed off at him for getting himself hurt again. She looked over at Rooster and Goose. "Are you two alright?" She asked, mainly concerned for Ajax. She looked back at his wound, moving closer to him so she could get a better view. She was settled quite close to him, brushing arms with him whenever she moved. She gently lifted a hand to pull his shirt fabric away from it, biting her lip slightly as she saw the full extent of it.

Ajax looked at Mercy. "Aaand your mad at me." He commented with a very slightly amused face, and Goose burst out laughing.

Goose roared with laughter at Ajax's comment, looking at the angel. "It's hard to believe you're brave enough to hang around us... almost anything we do is enough to make everyone mad. Now Ajax gets hurt, and THEN you get mad?" He snorted, his shoulders shaking as he laughed.

Ajax let a tiny smile come to his face at what Goose said, shaking his head slightly. "I think I'm going to time how long you last before I make you so mad you just storm out..." He stifled a chuckle, his eyes twinkling. This had happened once before, where he found someone brave enough (or stupid enough) to hang around him for more than 5 minutes. That one ran away after a day. Goose and Rooster nodded when Mercy asked if they were alright, but Goose's face was a little red from holding in laughter. And failing. Ajax flinched as Mercy started touching him, pulling away his shirt to peer at the wound. "Really, it'll be fine! I've had wounds like this before!" Ajax muttered, his whole attitude changing. He was like that... he was a out-going, funny man when people were outside of his *bubble*, but when they got too close he got rather defensive and uncomfortable.

She looked at Ajax with a glare and then back at Goose, narrowing her eyes, her glare withering as they made fun of her anger. "I am, because I JUST saved your ass, sir. All my hard work for you to go and just get hurt again. Asshole." She muttered, giving him a slightly frustrated look. "You can't make me mad enough to storm out, but you can make me mad enough to punch you so hard you see stars." She warned. Mercy raised her eyebrows at him as he started getting antsy. "Yes, and they were painful, I know. Which means this one is painful. And ny job is to alleviate pain. So, if you put that together, it equals shut your face and deal with it, Mr. Too-Prideful-To-Ask-For-Help." She snapped. Despite her harsh tone, she laid a gentle hand over his wound, the flesh slowly mending itself together under her palm.
