I have six pounds of berries to process and set in the freezer.

But my lap is currently being occupied by a sleeping human.

Is it the soupy-ness of the baked bean mixture or the surface of the baked bean itself Mads?

If it's just the liquid, perhaps you can drain some?
I don't eat beans too much personally because I'm picky about the pork, not for any dietary reasons I'm just not partial to the taste of most pork products

I like beans and rice though

My parents used to make me eat them thinking I was just being picky when it genuinely made me want to claw my mouth out of my face lol

It's usually cooked with ham which changes the flavor a bit

I just dont know how people eat baked beans. They make my skin crawl, it just feels so wrong. Refried is one thing if you put it with something but just slimy baked beans?? No thanks lol

Along the lines of what Eury said, different brands offer different things and have different flavors. People have different tastes. And when I made food for people that had certain dietary restrictions it was super helpful having a variety to choose from. Also some companies offer organic, fair trade, etc. and when I bake from scratch and am making a really good batch, instead of cheaper ingredients, some brands have higher quality ingredients than the others do and I'll use that on occasion.
I completely get how overwhelming it is but it's really a benefit to have options, there's cheaper things that you can get or more expensive, etc
And hey at least your stores are set if a bunch of people want baked beans 😂
Maybe a lot of people eat them in your area?

i agree dandy,

you also should take one of each bean can type, and put them all into one big pot for an all-in-one bean brand

Because it's nice to have variety and helpful for people with food allergies

Yeah I understand three maybe 5 tops but why is there 15-20 different brands if original baked beans in my grocery stores?

Eh, Dandelion I think having options is good, especially depending on what you're cooking. I frequent the same grocery stores so I just remember what I like and where it's cheaper, but for me I dislike the shopping itself, especially if there are crowds.

online, or in person shopping is both miserable for me. almost unbearable, especially when items/sections move. most times i give up

I hate grocery shopping. Like why does there have to be 27 different brands of baked beans!

that's why I order everything online and do pick up

If you are accepting more than just the first good offer, you are running an auction, and it needs to go in the auction area. Auctions placed in the sales area will be moved to the appropriate forum. Thanks!

Basically, if people are bidding higher, it is an auction. If you are posting a horse that is for a set price OR if you are haggling with a single person, it fits into sales. If you are accepting the first decent offer, it can go in sales. The first decent offer could be in EBs, art, trade, whatever you are willing to accept.

What ends up happening is people are fishing for offers and then let people keep bidding over and over, which is an auction. It clogs up the sales boards. :)

EXAMPLES OF SALES:

Horse on sale for a set price, public sale
Horse on sale for a set price, willing to accept lower offers
Looking for the first good offer
Looking for an offer, got an offer lower than what you wanted, and saying "Can you go 10k higher?"

EXAMPLES OF AUCTIONS:

Game auctions
Forum auctions
ANYTHING where more than one person makes an offer on the same horse with the price going higher on each offer
