"Good. That's good." Tempe nodded, relief flooding her features. "No more than you." She muttered, watching her shoes anxiously. She lifted her head in protest, blinking in surprise as he leaned in to kiss her. She closed her eyes and leaned into him to return it gently, her eyes fluttering open as he pulled away. She flushed and offered him a purely happy smile. "Someone needed to take your ego down a notch." She shrugged simply, nodding at him and standing to maker her way over. She clasped his hand eagerly, staring down at her feet in a happy daze.

Zephyr found it almost comical how worried Tempe was. Yes, he was the panic attack champion, but she wasn't supposed to be this anxious! She was supposed to be the confident one that went anywhere and did anything. Thankfully, she calmed down when he kissed her. To be noted, that was NOT his brains choice. Totally his heart acting alllll by itself. "Ha! Next week I'll show you. My ego will inflate back to its proper size soon." He grinned, heading towards the tall structure, where most of the demigods were already standing. Again, Chiron started to explain. All the demigods would go up at once. The crowded chaos was part of the scheme. You were allowed to do practically anything, since you didn't have dangerous weapons. Everyone lined up around the tower. It started up, swinging around with painful looking beams, ladders, and lots of obstacles. First person to get to the top won. Super easy, to say, anyway. Zephyr let go of Tempe's hand and glanced at her. "Good luck to you." He smiled, hearing the bell and starting slowly. Everyone else rushed and started falling quite like rocks. Once you fell you couldn't get back up. After at least half the people were gone Zephyr launched up quickly, scaling the obstacle and swinging around the ropes, easily darting up like he was part monkey. He preferred sword fighting, though.

Tempe rolled her eyes at him. "I'll just have to deflate it again." She joked, squeezing his hand lightly. She listened to Chiron and rolled her shoulders back lightly as Zephyr dropped her hand, stretching for a moment. "Hopefully I won't need it." She shrugged, taking on the wall at a medium pace at first. She kept a good distance away from the others as she tried to get a feel for the course, watching bodies fall all around. And then, the splatter of mud that met her calves as they slapped into the ground.

Zephyr pulled himself up another level, around a sort of sharp ledge, his biceps bulging with the strain of keeping himself from falling off. Still, this is why they trained. He tugged himself to his feet and looked sideways just in time to see Jock barreling at him. Obviously still unhappy from their loss. Zeph jumped out of the way and almost fell of the edge. Always a better idea to move when Jock was running towards you full speed. It was like being charged by a human battering ram. Zephyr then spun around and launched himself up, scaling a rope quickly to get away from Jock, who was grabbing at his feet. Only Jock, Luke, Temperence, Clarisse, Arielle, Butch, Baxter, Hannah, and Greyson were still climbing. A second glance showed Butch letting out a yell as he tumbled down. Zephyr paused for a second, sucking in a breath, and darted to the last obstacle up, to the last platform. His mind focused and his eyes hard, as they usual were when he was ready.
