The woman kind of cocked her head in through before giving a small chuckle. "That's very true. Nothing gets past that woman," she mused gently to boy. She took a glance out the window... land was in sight now, so they only had an hour and a bit left now. She girl hummed softly in response to his comment before giving a small chuckle. "Oh, I know you're the favourite, shortly followed by the kids, me and Anya... the queen is up there too, to be fair. But he's not going to lie and say you're hard to get on with," she mused softly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly and shook his head. "Except for the fact that I dated her daughter for a very long time," he noted. "We're still not entirely sure how that happened," he chuckled, knowing Mari wasn't the petty type, and it was rather ironic that the queen knew everything about everyone except that he'd been sleeping with her daughter for close to two years. "When was the last time you've seen her anyway," he asked curiously, knowing that the queen had been rather fond of mari while she'd worked for her, and that mari had enjoyed working for her too. Though, at her comment about the doctor, he shook his head with a sort of hum. "Nah, he loves the whole family all the same," he snorted lightly. "He absolutely adores the kids," he hummed.

The woman sort of snickered in amusement before rolling her eyes. "Please, we definately knew! You think us maids didn't notice you sneaking in and her sneaking out," she mused lightly. "And bless, poor Luther. After he got upset, she definately knew," she added with a small chuckle. Mari had started off working with Anya until the queen took her on, too... she definatly noticed when the princess wans't in her room for six in the morning. It definately amused her, to say the least. The woman sort of hummed in thought. "I'm not sure. We could probably go see them in a few weeks..." she hummed lightly before looking back over to him, a small smirk across her face. "He loves us for sure, but you're definately the favourite," she then added with a chuckle.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment about the whole castle knowing what was going on between him and Anya. "Maybe, though if she figured out what we were doing behind closed doors I think she'd have had my head," he noted with a sheepish chuckle. "I'm sure you assumed something was up though...it was rather hard to hide her absence," he mused. He nodded lightly in response to comment about visiting, humming happily. "I'm sure they'd like that. Though I'll not be getting the queen," he noted with a rather amused tone. "I don't know about that, Silas and Liz might be taking my place," he joked lightly, knowing the doctor had more than enough love for all of them.

The woman hummed in agreement. "Maybe. She knew you were close since before you even showed up, though. And she definitely knew Anya had been sneaking out," she mused softly. She probably didn't know what was happening behind closed doors, but the woman absolutely knew they were closer than she would have liked. "Oh, bless. I remember one of the younger maids coming to me all upset that Anya had seen her when she came back from one of her adventures. Poor girl was terrified she'd loose her job... though, I suppose that was never on the table. Anya would then actually have to admit she'd been sneaking out and god knows she wouldn't do that," she mused happily. She sort of snickered at his next comment, though. "Oh, yeah. He loves those children more than anything. Silas looks like you and Liz acts like you so it's like he has three of you!" She chuckled playfully to him, sort of moving sit up a little.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "Oh I'm sure that was the main reason she hated me so much," he noted with a chuckle. "it was hard to miss the princess and heir to the throne sneaking out of the castle every night," he mused. He wrinkled his nose slightly when she mentioned one of the maids had been seen by Anya and shrugged. "she knew you guys were just trying to help her out," he mused lightly before chuckling when she mentioned the doctor. "Yep, and you get to put up with all three of us," he teased her lightly before glancing over at the clock. "Were landing in around twenty minutes...we should get ready to get home," he hummed after a minute or so.

The girl chuckled softly to him before shaking her head. "Don't forget the you sneaking in yet," she mused softly to him before moving to peck his nose, sort of moving to get out of bed after a moment. "Yeah, lets get sorted. Do you want to go make sure Chaos is ready and I'll sort the bags?" She asked happily. They needed the carriage ready, and Chaos was probably a bit of a handful for the grooms anyway.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, nodding slightly. "Hey, the first few times Anya carried me in like a baby," he noted with a chuckle, still rather amused at the whole thing. He nodded when she said they should get ready though, and moved to get up with a grunt. "Yeah, he's probably driven all the grooms mad by now," he noted in a rather fond tone of voice. He made sure Mari was all settled before wandering out and down to the barns. As he'd suspected, the grooms were rather fed up with the big black stallion by then, so Sage just worked at getting the horse and carriage ready for him and Mari. He enjoyed it anyway, so he was more than happy to take over Chaos's care from the grooms.

The woman gave a small chuckle before getting everything ready... she brought the bags to the deck, and it didn't take long for them to dock and get on their way home. They'd had a good time, but by now, she was definately excited for her own bed... and to see the kids, and of course little Amber. She hummed softly before looking over to Sage as they entered the village. "I do think it'd be nice to go and see the castle at some point, you know. It's been a while since we've seen everyone, and I bet the doctor is missing you by now," she mused happily.

Sage had moved to get the horse and carriage ready, and soon enough they had docked, so he moved to get the horse over to where they could easily load the carriage up then drive off the boat before the crowds of people really made much traffic. He had to admit he was exited to be going back home....he did miss the place, and everyone that came with it. Besides, he had so many art ideas that he could spend a lot of time painting and drawing...which meant more money. It was foaling time too, so he was exited to see who that went. He hummed lightly in response to Mari's comment about visiting the castle, nodding happily. "It would be a good idea," he chirped. "Maybe in a couple days we can take a ride over there and visit everyone, once we're all settle din and stuff," he added.
