Fox, her injury is a long way from her heart, she will be okay.
I would however get her in and potentially rope her hoof and just practice pressure and release at a decent/safe distance until she understand what you're asking. Build on that.
Sting very minor lameness on the foot she broke some of the hoof wall off. she aint lame enouhg to stop running around the pasture. and she kicked the shit out of my gelding too so its really not bad.
Fair enough haha! This mare is high anxiety and has a biting problem. Rears sometimes and wont hold up a foot. her feet are a MESS from being untouched for over half a year and i got told Im over my head when I said I smacked her cause she *bit me*
fox the firs mistake was asking reddit in the first place, the other being expecting any helpful answers xD But yeah, that's how the internet tends to be, instead of seeing the whole picture.
I'm so tired of Roan or Sabino RID's... that's been my entire herd. I really want to bring more color into my horses. I had a frame gene in there for a while.
