Zena stood in the hall. A light breeze drifted through the castle. The black mare walked around the corner and found the door to the courtyard, was open. She examined the flowering trees, and fresh green grass. Zena tossed her long, wavy mane and stamped her hoof on the ground. No one was in there. Zena trotted back out to the hall and made sure to shut the door behind her. "Hm. That's weird?" She said to herself. The queen pranced down the hall towards Zena. "Mother... Uh, I was just shutting the door." Zena said looking down. "My daughter! Well, O-Okay." She flicked her tail and slid right passed Zena. "Ugh. Mother..." Zena mumbled. She walked to her bedroom and shut the door.

Cincinnati walks around the village looking back and forth wondering where and what they like doing but then he didn't really mind he was mostly heading up to the castle to see what was up there since he was a knight and all he had his job to protect the castle with all his might but they're was not a single person who would enter the kingdom

Zena looked out the window to the village and sighed. She opened the window and jumped out. Zena galloped down the rolling hills and into the village. She trotted past stores and houses, looking at all the extrodinary sights! Zena said hello to everyone that passed. Up ahead she saw Cincinnati, one of the castle gaurds. "Hey Cincinnati! What's up?!" She said with her spunky mood. Zena looked at the bright blue sky and back to the buckskin stallion. She smiled and shook her mane.

Cincinnati looks around before jumping at the sound of Zena voice and said "hi my lady doing nothing just checking around the town" Cincinnati looks at her but he head in a lower position then what he had it before he didn't want to be rude but she doesn't suppose to be out here without anyone Cincinnati ask "what are you doing out here " look around but back at her worried a little bit

"Uh, I just wanted a break from my mother. She is as stubborn as always!" Zena giggled and looked at Cincinnati. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you!" She smiled and looked away blushing in embarrassment. "Well... I must be on my way." She turned at headed deeper into the village. She watched the villagers move out of her way, but she didn't mean to take up so much space. Or, maybe they were doing it because she was the princess. Either way, she enjoyed the fresh air.

Cincinnati watches her go and then walks on towards the castle just to make sure the king or queen didn't need anything Cincinnati picks up a trot it was a nice low trot he did but it still made a way through the town it was normal for it to be busy

Zena trotted back up to the castle. She swung the doors open and ran to her bedroom. Leaves and flowers covered her mane. "No, no, no! I can't look like this for the showing!" Zena scurried around her room and put on her matching flower necklace. Someone knocked on the door and Zena froze. "Who is it?" She called. "Honey? The prince should be here soon. Please look your best. This is your 15th try to impress a prince." Her mother sighed and walked off. Zena checked herself in the mirror. "Okay. Looks good." She opened her door and pranced gracefuly down the hall. Zena saw Cincinnati up ahead. She blushed and looked away when she passed him. Why am I acting like this? Do I, no... I can't like him! She thought to herself. Zena glanced back and smiled at the knight. She trotted into the ballroom and went to her throne. "Zena, honey! Prince Jazen will be here any moment!" Her mother and father announced. The doors swung open. Cincinnati and the other knight, Carlos, stood holding the door. Zena watched Cincinnati. Her eyes sparkled. "Zena!" Her father said. Zena jumped slightly and watched the palemino stallion walk into the ballroom. He grabbed Zena's hoof and kissed it lightly. Zena ignored the favor and rolled her eyes.

Cincinnati looks at Zena and smiles she was pretty but he needs to stop staring at her 'look somewhere else Cincinnati ' he told himself all the time once the king came and she didn't look like she wanted to be here Cincinnati just stands there until the ball started he might leave and go out side since they won't need him then Cincinnati looks at Carlos and said " this is so boring "he heard Carlos laugh and said " you right it is but we can't do nothing about can we "Cincinnati shakes his head and said " I guess not "

Zena watched as Prince Jazen talked to her parents. When no one was looking, she slid out the back door into the hall. She took a deep breath. "Finally!" Zena walked down the hall and made sure not to make any noise. She turned the corner and ran right into Cincinnati. "Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" Zena looked down . "Before anyone finds me... I just wanted to say.... Um, uhhh nevermind." Zena walked away and hid in her bedroom. She wasn't ready to get married. Especially not to Prince Jazen. He was too... Arrogant. Zena shook her head and sighed. She opened the castle doors and galloped down to the village. Zena wanted to get away from it all. Away from... Her parents.
