Pretty Pony Pageant May Show Class List ∴ Realistic Classes ∴ Dressage Mare & Foal Blue Ribbon Ride
Racing ⚜ ∴ Theme Classes ∴ 📖 Fairy Tale ✨ Day at the Zoo 🐒 The Dressage, Mare & Foal, Blue Ribbon Ride and Racing classes will be judged by an anonymous judges panel! (remember, if you are chosen for this show's judges panel - you cannot enter a horse in these classes) Dressage Where the Precision, Dedication, Elegance, and Perfection of Horse & Rider are Tested as they Dance from A to C Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ A Bridle ‣ A Dressage -OR- Baroque Saddle Background Requirements: ‣ Dressage Court or Arena Background Trotting down the centerline, you halt at X and salute the judge. Wait, what comes next? Deep breath and it all comes rushing back to you. You pick up the working trot and circle at A. An extended trot across the diagonal. You transition to the canter and perform the shallow serpentine down the long side. The free walk comes next and you repeat the test in the opposite direction. You find yourself back at X saluting the judge and give your horse a big pat on the neck for a job well done. Mare & Foal After anxiously analyzing potential breeding matches, your foal is finally here! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony ‣ Foal Decor -OR- Foal Entry Tack Requirements: ‣ Must have at least One (1) tack item on the Mare ‣ If not using a Foal Decor Item,
Foal entry must have One (1) tack item Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor Item for Mare (& Foal) Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Mare & Foal Theme ‣ If not using a Foal Decor Item - Foal must have a matching background » Mare & Foal do not have to be related but should look as though they are dam and offspring. » Only Mare entries utilizing Foal Decor Items could have 'twins' Spring has sprung!
With babies dancing in the fresh green grass, it's a beautiful time! Except if you're the anxiously waiting breeder! You spent hours and hours sorting through stallions and analyzing lineage, training and show records. Almost a year of absolutely stressing about the Mare, and the embryo - as it grows to a fetus and ultimately a Foal. It's the wee hours of the night. Your eyes are so tired and you can barely keep them open. The video feed is hazy and honestly the mare hasn't done much but shift weight and munch hay. What's that? The mare started looking uncomfortable. Moving around, shifting weight a lot, even laying down. ... Well, it's been about thirty minutes. And We Have A FOAL! A beautiful healthy baby! And the Dam is doing this super cute sweet nickers to her foal. Blue Ribbon Ride Congratulations! You've won your class! It's time for a Victory Gallop! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult -OR- Foal Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ Must have At least One (1) Tack Item Excludes items from the 'Extras' Section ‣ At least One (1) Ribbon -OR- Trophy Item 🏆 Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor Item Background Requirements: ‣ Outdoor Arena Background Not The Discipline Arenas Congratulations! You WON! Show off your ribbons and trophies! We want to Celebrate your Accomplishments and Achievements! Racing The Thrill of the Speed! The Power of the Horses! It all happens in Seconds! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse Breed Restrictions: ‣ Thoroughbred or Appendix Quarter Horse only Tack Requirements: ‣ Bridle ‣ A Saddle Pad Ideas: Shadow Roll, Grease for Sweat, Fly Mask for Blinkers Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Racing Theme It's Race Day!
The horses are all tacked up and walking in the paddock. Do you have the eye to pick a champion? Place your last minute bets as the jockeys are legged up and led away to the Starting Gates.
And...THEY'RE OFF!!!!
The field flies through the first turn! The leaders are jostling for the front!
Through the backside - ohh! The Underdog is making his move! Weaving through the mid field as they pass one, two, three horses!
Around the second turn - jockeys struggling to find purchase on the rail.
AND Look At That! The Underdog is flying! Absolutely Flying as they come around to the Homestretch! Stride By Stride! The Sure-Win is loosing lengths to the Underdog. Can they keep up this Pace!

The outriders and ponies head to collect the race horses and lead the winner to the victory circle to receive their roses! - - - • You may use as many items as you want! • Get Creative! Many tack and decor items can be used multiple ways! • It is highly encouraged to be creative and think outside the box - you don't have to use traditional tack always, as long as it can be reasoned, it will be accepted. • It is not required to be extravagant - if you only have an item or two, go for it! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult -OR- Foal Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Tack Item Excludes the 'Extras' Section Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor item Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Fairy Tale entry . Include a short blurb about your Fairy Tale Entry to be posted on the Community Vote Poll ☆ Must be Submitted with your entry! ☆ Pick any fairy tale that has been passed down through the generations - Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Mother Goose, Aesop's Fables, (or even Disney). Spin a tale of Princesses and Princes, Damsels and Knights, Unicorns and Frogs; A quest for gold, or fighting off swashbuckling pirates, or true love's first kiss!
