"Then that's more than I could ever ask for." Tempe answered with a smile, rolling her eyes at his next comment. "I had to make sure. I like you way better when you're making fun of me than when you're wallowing in self pity." She teased, tilting her head at his cut off sentence. "Of course you'll see me tomorrow. But what were you gonna say, with your malfunctioning brain?" She asked slightly, smiling serenely up at him. She was still so happy.

Zephyr's smile twitched slightly, like he was trying not to say something stupid. "I can sure make fun of you some more." He grinned a little, looking like he could genuinely do that. He rubbed the back of his neck with a wince. "We-elll... I'm not quite sure. I knew what I was going to say at first but now I don't." He answered slowly, looking slightly applogetic. "In any case.. goodbye for right now." He then paused. "I'm being clingy. Sorry. No. Wait. I'm not am I. It doesn't matter. I don't know. My brain needs time to restart." Zephyr shook his head harshly and started walking up to the Cabins

"Take it easy on me, alright? I'm only so strong." Tempe chuckled, shrugging at his words. "I just make you go that blank in the brain, huh?" She teased softly. "Alright. Goodnight, Zeph." She said lightly, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Aw. I would love to see what your version of clingy looks like. I could never not enjoy that." She joked, nodding lightly as he made his way off. She walked her way towards her cabin, which was somewhat far from his. She slid into her cabin and shut the door, taking a deep breath and then giggling out of pure joy. She had not only held hands with a boy, she had told him she liked him. And he didn't run away screaming. Life couldn't get any better.

Zephyr let out a small laugh. "Take it easy? When have you ever seen me do that." He joked quietly, which was honestly surprising but this whole night had been. He usually didn't joke around too much, because that indicated he was comfortable and happy. He much preferred sarcasm and insulting teasing. At her next sentence he let out a small huff. "I do not confirm nor deny." He answered with a slight snort- it wasn't like he WANTED to go all zombie mode. He only did that when he woke up way too early. Until he met Tempe, obviously. "My version of clingy is this- I think." A small smile curled onto his lips as his first reaction WASN'T to jerk back, which was a win for him! Maybe the next win could be initiating his own movement of affection. Still, at this point, not running away screaming seemed like a great way to start the day. As he was walking he cast one more glance towards her before disappearing into the cabin that almost blended right into the forest behind it. Zeph flopped down on the bunk to stare at the bed above him, not caring his shirt was damp and his hair was still wet. In his eyes he had the best day ever. After a couple minutes of reflecting he changed and fell asleep quite quickly.

Tempe took a slightly long while falling asleep once She changed, mainly because her brain wouldn't shut up with all the happy thoughts bouncing around. Eventually, she did fall asleep, and woke up somewhat early the next morning. She let out a soft breath and got up, grabbed her clothes, and made her way out to the showers. She took a quick shower and changed into some unremarkable clothing- black shorts, a navy blue croptop. Her blonde waves were loose and damp around her shoulders and she threw on her high tops, making her way back to her cabin to toss her dirty clothes inside. After, she glanced around, hoping Zephyr would magically appear so she didn't have to search for him.

In the morning Zephyr awoke to a bit brighter sunlight streaming through the shades of his windows. He groaned slightly and rolled over, ready to hide from the day, when the events of the past night came flooding back to him in a wave. He lifted his head and slowly clambered up. It wasn't early- he had probably even slept in a little... the bell that meant you HAD to get up would sound in about roughly 10 minutes. They had the obstacle course and sparring today, and he quite enjoyed both so it should be a good day. Combing through his wild hair and pulling on a black t-shirt with black boot cut jeans, Zephyr again wished for his leather jacket, sighing slightly as all he remembered were tatters. He then mentally prepared himself for a second and readjusted the bones around his neck just slightly, which he never took off, before walking out, towards the breakfast area.

Tempe waited for a few minutes, enjoying the fresh air, when Zephyr caught her eye. She smiled and made her way over. "Hey. Sleep well?" She asked lightly, falling into step beside him. She wanted to grab for his hand, but she didn't want to seem clingy. She already felt bad for wanting to see him. She didn't want to annoy him when things were finally becoming so good.

Zephyr yawned before cracking his wrists and glancing around, his gaze noticing the person he had been looking for. Since Tempe was already coming over, however, he did not change his course. "Much better than I usually do. You?" He answered with a hint of a smile, though again his eyes flitted around to everywhere, noticing every detail and every change.... and every person, like the Aphrodite girl staring longingly at him. Truthfully, it brought a slight shudder to his body. He hated being noticed. Especially now. It was too early. Blocking it out of his brain, he turned as much attention as he could back to Tempe, slowing the tiniest bit so he didn't get to the tables in three strides. However much his brain was still on the edge, his hand obviously had a mind of its own as it went to Tempe's hand. Immediately the slight tickles of electricity shot up his arm. He was still trying to figure out exactly why that was happening.

Tempe grinned at him for his answer. "Like a rock." She joked, her gaze snagging on Amelia for a half-moment. She pulled her gaze away quickly and cleared her throat, her brain going wild for a few moments. That girl was so, so pretty. She was the daughter of Aphrodite- obviously she was gorgeous. And perfect, and she was generous, and she seemed sweet- a whole lot of things Tempe didn't feel like she was. What if he turned his attention to her and really looked? Would he realize who the better option was? She blinked herself out of her thoughts as his hand covered hers. She smiled faintly and curled her hand around his, giving it a squeeze. His hand was cool and dry against hers, and she let out a quiet breath at the slightly electrifying sensation that came with his touch. Or, maybe that was her nerves kicking in. She tried not to think too hard as she strolled by one of the tables holding food, keeping his hand in her grasp. She grabbed a muffin and took a bite, simply enjoying the silence as she pondered when she had eaten last. She had been too nervous to pick at dinner last night- and the last she had eaten before that was Ambrosia at the cabin yesterday afternoon.

"More like a rock than most people." Zephyr chuckled quietly. Black and cold- that's how he always seemed to be. He could easily be called a rock if he sat still long enough. When Tempe went silent his gaze flit to hers, following it along its path until he saw what she was looking at- the Aphrodite girl. He was pretty sure her name was Amelia. Why was he remembering that now? It didn't matter. He wondered why Tempe was watching Amelia. Honestly, he wanted nothing to do with that girl, because the more time he spent with Amelia the harder it would be to outright tell her Nope, sorry, already have a friend I'm interested in, byyyye. He hated telling people he didn't like them- well, granted, he'd only had to do it twice. A couple years ago, with some Aphrodite girl named Rose, and last year, with an Apollo girl named Lila. Zephyr tugged his mind away from those thoughts, and his gaze away from Amelia's face, instead focusing on the feel of Tempe's hand in his and the food. He never really liked food, actually- part of the reason he was getting skinny enough even he thought it'd be a good idea to eat more. Zeph just didn't like the taste of most food. Or the texture. He was never really hungry, anyway. In any case, when passing by he scooped up some appetizing-looking food, starting to eat it as he glanced at Tempe before heading back towards a table.
